Huntsville Build - 2003

A group of committed people concerned about improving the accessibility of affordable homeownership worked for two years to form a Habitat for Humanity affiliate. Their diligent work gathered the knowledge needed and created the required committees. Affiliation status was received in 2001 and charitable status was achieved in early 2003.  A donation of land was made in Huntsville, a family was chosen and construction began on the home in 2003.  Habitat Muskoka's first home dedication took place that December.
